Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi joins DeepStacks University

It’s not every day that an online poker training site can boast signing a new coach as accomplished as Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi to its roster, but this is precisely what Deepstacks University was able to do shortly after Mizrachi became a one of the 2010 November Nine at the World Series of Poker.

Mizrachi’s first role with the online poker training site will be at one of their ‘live’ seminars near his home in Florida. The live poker training seminar will take place on October 16th at the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallendale Beach Florida, and will cover a number of poker topics including Cash Game and Tournament strategies, positional adjustments, bankroll management, game selection, ‘floating’, and picking off bluffs.

‘The Grinder’ is in the midst of one of the greatest year’s in poker history, having already taken-down the $50k Players Championship at the World Series of Poker, Mizrachi now finds himself at the final table of the WSOP Main Event: Not to mention the two other final tables he made at the 2010 WSOP! Mizrachi also has 2 World Poker Tour titles on his impressive resume, and should he finish first or second in the Main Event in November Mizrachi would be poker’s all-time money leader, leapfrogging Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu and other poker superstars! ‘The Grinder’ currently sits in 14th place on the all-time list of money winners with $9,613.917 in tournament winnings.

At Deepstacks University Mizrachi will join one of the best poker training teams in the world, featuring a mix of old-school and new-school players as well as live and online poker players. The current Deepstacks University instruction team consists of Mike Matusow, Tm McEvoy, TJ Cloutier, Alex Outhred, Mike Mizrachi, Justin ‘Boosted J’ Smith, Adam ‘Roothlus’ Levy, Andrew ‘Browndog19’ Brown, Matt Graham, Daryl Fish, Hayden ‘Nipsman’ Fortini, Tristan ‘Cre8ive’ Wade, and Jay ‘WeHaveAProb’ Houston. Deepstacks University members will also have access to past content by former instructors like Liv Boeree and Michael Binger.

The training at Deepstacks University is extremely innovative in that members watch interactive modules where they are asked to make decisions in ‘game-time’ situations. After answering the question posed to you, the coach explains why the decision is right or wrong, and gives you a chance to select again. The whole experience is based on the many different live poker training academies that have sprung up at major tournaments –which Deepstacks instructor Alex Outhred was a major part of creating. Deepstacks offers some of the best video quality of any online poker training site, with the game table taking up most of the screen while an image of the instructor speaking is displayed on the side of the game table.

Right now poker players can join Deepstacks University for the low price of $99: This includes 2-mnths access to the site as well as covering the activation fee. After this initial 2-month period players can continue their membership for $29.95 per month.
