There are few people in online poker history who can boast the playing and coaching resume when it comes to Sit & Go Tournaments that Cardrunners coach Collin Moshman can. Moshman is not simply a beast at the S&G tables either, he has also authored two very successful poker books in Sit ‘n Go Strategy and Heads-Up No-Limit Hold ‘Em (both published by twoplustwo); he has put together a fearsome Sit & Go team, known as Team Moshman; has turned over 40 of his pupils into established winners at the poker tables; and has even married well considering his wife Katie “HotJenny314”Dozier is a well known poker pro as well, and a poker coach to boot!

Moshman was born in Silver Springs, Maryland – I’d really like to do research on why so many online poker pros are from Maryland and Minnesota—and now calls Las, Vegas, Nevada home after spending years living in Washington DC. Moshman is a games and math nut, and spent his college years’ earning a degree in Theoretical Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.

Moshman’s style utilizes his math background, which allows him to make crisp, clean, decisions at virtually any stage of a Sit and Go tournament, as well as his ability to review specific hands and situations to find and plug leaks in his game.

In addition to supplying Cardrunners with plenty of content as their Head Sit and Go Instructor, Moshman also maintains his own site –CollinMoshman.com– where he offers private one-on-one coaching, staking, and a whole lot more: A look at the mission statement in the coaching area pretty much sums up Moshman’s confidence in his ability to turn you into a winning player:

At Cardrunners he has produced 17 training videos, typically at the rate of about one per month, where Moshman has been a part of the coaching team since mid-2010, previously having been a part of the StoxPoker coaching team –don’t worry, his StoxPoker videos have been migrated over to Cardrunners!

Obviously Moshman’s Cardrunners content focuses on Sit and Go play, and he covers a number of topics: Single Table S&G’s make up the bulk of his training videos, while other formats covered include Turbos, Multi-Table S&G’s, and even live play.

Moshman has also created different series for the site including a Leak-Finder series as well as contributing five videos to the S&G University series where he covers topics ranging from the Nash Equilibrium Play, to ICM, to basic Low Blind play.
