Multi Table Tournaments (MTTs)

MTT’s are the main focus of the PokerPwnage site. Their coaching team consists of some of the top ranked online Multi Table Tournament players who have produced a host of top quality videos. From a library of over 185 videos dedicated to MTT’s, members get to learn from tourney experts such as NeverScaredB, Assassinato, Nsinger, HerschelW, cardsfan04 and GhettoFabolous.

The MTT videos on the site are mainly dedicated to NLHE players, although there are infrequent PLO and PLO Hi/Lo videos contributed by Nsinger. A coaching roster with such pedigree has of course produced excellent content that is essential to any serious MTT player. There is a mixture of live recording and play back videos conducted on the site where the pros explain their thought processes brilliantly.

The MTT videos on PokerPwnage are aimed at low and mid stakes tournament players, with a few high stakes videos including a Sunday Millions eleven part series by Assassinato.

Sit and Gos (SnGs)

Sit and goes have the most coverage on PokerPwnage after MTT’s. Coaches such as NeverScaredB, bballwiz, Mzungu, Nsinger and UHBigTex produce the sit and go content for the site. These sit and go specialists show a great understanding of the game and the content is of great value to any sit and go player.

NeverScaredB produced a two part series of $45man sit and goes where he focuses on hand equity calculations. Mzungu introduces members to strategies in double or nothing sit and goes (recorded live) which are becoming increasingly popular amongst players. Mzungu also produced a tutorial video on an Auto Hot Keys for sit and go players which will educate players in more efficient multi tabling. Omaha Hi/Lo tournaments are available on PokerPwnage where members get to see Nsinger in action in his two part $10 PLO08 sng series.

Bballwizz, the 6max sit and go specialist, has produced 6 videos for the site aimed at predominantly at mid stakes players. His videos introduce the different strategies required for 6max sit and goes compared to full ring.

There are two headsup sit and go videos on the site at $10 level by HerschelW and at $50 level by UHBigTex.

Cash Games

Assassinato is the main cash pro on the site, producing NLHE 6 max cash videos. All these videos are produced at small stakes from 100nl – 200nl.

HerschelW has added to the cash section of the site with a full ring cash game fundamentals video which was recorded live.

The only HU cash video on PokerPwnage was produced by agame18 at 400nl which contained more great content.

Forums:

The PokerPwnage forums are neatly laid out and contain the basic required sections. There is a strategy forum dedicated to each variation of poker and then one overall strategy forum dedicated to extremely specific ideas and circumstances.

There are just under one thousand members in the PokerPwnage community and the forums are relatively active considering the number of members. Possible improvement could be made if there was a forum dedicated to analysis of the pros videos.

Coaching:

The 1-on-1 coaching system on PokerPwnage is second to none. All of the video producers on the site are available for coaching at very reasonable rates ranging from $85 per hour to $400 per hour.

PokerPwnage shows great clarity in the coaching section of the site where they have a readily available contact form to fill out, where you may enter your contact details, tick game type and preferred coach(es), and wait for them to get back to you. This gives members an easy means to individually contact their coach of choice!

The Verdict: Score: 9/10
PokerPwnage is an excelled MTT orientated site. It is a step ahead of the other tournament training websites with its first class coaching roster of top online tournament players. There is little cash or sit and go content, but it’s not their field so it can’t be faulted as such.

Their website is very easy to navigate and clarity is present throughout. The only areas which possibly need improvement are the filters in the video library, where it is sometimes difficult to find the videos you are looking for due to the size of the library. It would also be nice to see Pro blogs on the site, as the rambling of the top MTT players online would undoubtedly make interesting reading.

All in all, if you're an MTT focused player, then PokerPwnage is undoubtedly the best site for improving your MTT skills. Click here to visit PokerPwnage now
