Royal Flush Club also records the final table of their exclusive member Club Tournaments that are held weekly on the site. These tournaments have run from December 2007 until today. Along with these videos there are poker related articles where the site pros give an account on areas relating to soft poker skills, such as psychology, bankroll management and tilt.

No Limit/Fixed Limit Holdem:

There are 38 video in this variation of poker available to members of the Royal Flush Club. 7 of these videos are for micro stakes players. The videos at micro stakes are produced by Larry, SWIFFLE and GANK.

There are 21 mid stakes videos on the site, which is the dominant section with regards to cash games. The content for mid stakes poker players on the site is produced by NICK and DON.

The high stakes content on the site is of high value and is produced by NICK and GANK. There are 10 videos available in the higher stakes poker category.

Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo:

ANDREAS and GANK are the feature coaches in the PLO Hi/LO category of the site. There are few poker training sites around that offer Omaha Hi/Lo training or coaching, but Royal Flush Club does! There are 5 videos in this area which range from $0.25/0.50 to $1/2 PLO. This variation of poker is deemed highly profitable as most players don’t know how to play it. Now is your chance to take advantage of training in PLO Hi/Lo and exploit the fish.

Multi Table Tournaments (MTTs):

There is a lot of MTT content on Royal Flush Club, with a range of videos and presentations aimed at beginner, intermediate and advanced players available on the site. In the beginner category, members can avail of the tuition of Deejr, SWIFFLE and GANK.

The intermediate category of MTTs on Royal Flush Club allows members to train under the guidance of NICK, RICK, GANK and SWIFFLE. This section features 18 presentations and videos for intermediate tournament players to avail of.

Advanced MTTs players should not be without the information provided in this category. The MTT specialists, GANK and NICK provide priceless information for MTT players who are playing higher level tournaments. The authors cover their strategies in each stage of a MTT and also give an understanding of differing MTT playing approaches.

Sit and Gos (STTs):

Like MTTs, Sit and Gos are a popular feature of Royal Flush Club. They split STTs into the beginner/intermediate and advanced categories again. There are 22 videos and presentations on the site for beginning STT players. Coaches featured in this section are MAR, RICK, DON, MARION, SHAWN, SWIFFLE and GANK.

The same coaches; MAR, RICK, DON, MARION, SHAWN, SWIFFLE and GANK are producers for the intermediate coaching of STT’s. There are 21 pieces of material for intermediate players in this section. This section on the site has different series such as "sit n go secrets" and "turbo sit and go strategy".

SHAWN, RICK and GANK take control of the advanced sit and go material. This section should appeal to players playing $50 or higher buy in STTs. There are currently 10 videos available to advanced players on Royal Flush Club.

Other Games:

There is limited variety when it comes to content on other games or different variations of poker. GANK has produced a video taking the viewer through the fundamentals of HORSE tournaments. The lead pro for the site also participates in a Deuce-to-7 Triple Draw Lowball video where he makes $300 in about 25 minutes.

Along with the above variations, Royal Flush Club has a section of video tutorials that cover the recording of your own poker videos. There is also a very useful tutorial on Poker Sidekick, a real time poker odds calculator developed by Royal Flush Club founder, Rick Braddy.

Forums:

The RoyalFlushClub forums seem average overall. They have a very good break down of the forum categories, providing all the relevant sections you would expect. There is quite a bit of activity on the forums and a good sense of community. The design and interface on the forum is very basic and makes posting there less appealing other poker training sites forums.

Coaching:

RFC offers one of the most advanced poker coaching programs available. Their exclusive "Virtual Coaching(TM)" service enables a client to email a coach a hand history, and have a customized coaching video produced that provides personalized coaching advice. This is a very affordable and popular, innovative service created by RoyalFlushClub.

RoyalFlushClub explained to us more on their ‘Virtual Coaching™’ service, describing that, “Simply put, it's a complete powerhouse packed video based on your play in a single tournament, where the Virtual Coach of your choice will go over your game in detail giving you very pointed advice on hands, situations, odds, your opponents, etc. They will point out the good plays as well as plays that could use improvement, mental strategies that will help turn your game into the lean consistent winning game that you are reaching towards.” The videos are very useful for players as the pros are explaining the play in a thorough manner, while also paying attention to other hands that the member isn’t involved in.

RoyalFlushClub also offers traditional 1-1 personal (remote) coaching, using Skype and other tools for more traditional, live online coaching from each of their on site pros. Selecting a pro is easy on the site, as each of them contain a bio section where they tell a little about themselves. It is very useful when selecting a poker coach. Along with this there are several testimonials available for the experiences previous students have had with the coach.

The Verdict: Score: 7/10

RoyalFlushClub have a nice community going and there is a lot of interaction between pros and members. There is an easy to use forum available and frequent club tournaments held exclusively for members. RFC have combined elements of a poker social club and a regular poker training site to form a fantastic learning environment with a keen focus on community. If you prefer to learn in an interactive community based environment then Royal Flush Club is a surefire winner.
