Deepstacks University Overview

DeepStacks University is another recent addition to the poker training site market and has grown significantly in popularity. DeepStacks University takes the idea of training to a whole new level; using a variety of proven training methods and some newer cutting edge methods. The site owners, while avid poker players and fans, have backgrounds in training, from business to law enforcement.

DeepStacks University’s ownership assembled a team of top poker instructors for their content, but the lesson plans and training methods come straight from the owners’ models. Therefore members of DeepStacks University will learn using the same model as top CEO’s and law enforcement officers, but they will learn from some of the top poker players in the world. The site’s headliner is Mike “The Mouth” Matusow.

DeepStacks uses an innovative training methods to help players learn known as; The Poker Matrix – This is DeepStacks patent pending interactive software: Somewhat similar to a simulation. They have dubbed this feature Reactive Training Technology (RTT), where the Matrix will interact with you throughout the simulated session based on your answer.

Expected Value: Is Deepstacks University Worth It?
DeepStacks was a late entrant into the poker training market with the backing of Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow. The training program has shown to be popular and most members are enthusiastic about learning, but we are not sure if it is the best place for them. The selling point of DeepStacks is the interactive aspect of the poker training which is supposed to be more effective over watching poker training videos. The training modules on DeepStacks cover a large variety of areas in No Limit holdem tournaments, sit and gos and cash games, but are very short and sometimes thin on content.

We feel that DeepStacks doesn’t represent good value to players. There are way better qualified coaches offering richer and more frequent content at other poker training sites. We recommend reading our Deuces Cracked Review as a better alternative.
