Party Academy is a FREE online poker training site run by the wildly successful poker-room Party Poker. The Party Academy is another example of an online poker site seeking to better educate their player base, and with a lot of revenue to back them the site does an excellent job of informing and educating its players through Party Academy.
Obviously as a free online poker training site the content is geared towards new, and/or struggling, poker players, but there is also a decent amount of more advanced articles, lessons, and videos for more experienced poker players to make use of.
The Academy is broken up into different levels, with players having to pass a certain threshold –whether it’s opening a real-money account, or earning a certain amount of player points—to gain access to the area. Each area contains progressively more advanced content than the previous.

Each section grants access to 68 videos and 24 articles, so in all, a Black Chip member of Party Academy will have access to 340 videos and 120 articles, which is a considerable content library. In addition to the videos and articles, members of Party Academy will be able to test their skill and knowledge through quizzes and lessons.
• Video Content: The videos at Party Academy are shorter than other training sites, but the production quality is extremely high. Set up to be more of situational examples, the videos lack the spur of the moment decision-making process from other online poker training sites.
• Written Content: with 120 articles, Party Academy has one of the largest written strategy-based content libraries you’ll find. Generally, written articles can help better explain certain points that instructors have trouble making verbally.
• Bonus Material: The interactive aspect of Party Academy’s quizzes and lessons should keep players interested as they are working on their game.
